As a Shipper/Receiver for our Saskatoon District, you will contribute to our team by:

Selecting equipment from inventory to be sent to jobsites.
Assisting with the loading and offloading of material, equipment and tools.
Arranging freight and completing documentation.
Maintaining accurate inventory tracking.
Reviewing repair estimates and scheduling equipment service and recertification.
Communicating with procurement staff, HSE, project teams, other district departments, vendors, and trade contractors.
Maintain parking and building maintenance: Snow removal / lights / furniture etc.
Operate forklift / loader for loading/unloading material and equipment.
Championing initiatives to streamline processes while improving effectiveness.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all partners.
Other duties as required.

What you will bring to the role:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in warehouse, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
Holds a valid drivers license.
Superior customer service skills and ability to handle shifting priorities.
Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to recognize problems and provide solutions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb. without restrictions.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Telehandler / forklift and skid steer training an asset.
