Our world-class team of 150+ Engineers builds leading-edge web and mobile applications from scratch, continuously upgrading and refining our proprietary systems. We employ the latest technologies to deliver a robust and scalable technology stack that will support our global reach and provide a seamless user experience. Join us for a unique 17-week paid internship that offers personal and professional development. This program will give you an opportunity to work on complex computer science solutions, develop scalable distributed software systems, and collaborate on multitudes of smaller projects that have universal appeal.

This could include:

• Participating in building our new mobile application
• Developing our next generation e-commerce platform, as we grow our international presence
• Taking part in the design of effective services to manage our next generation global supply chain management system
• Proposing ideas and participating in design, implementation and testing solutions to help the business
• Partnering with the Product Management team to learn about the business-side requirements

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to real-world challenges
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution for effectively solving challenges
• Participate in the development of best of breed next generation systems
• Join and support a productive and innovative team, working alongside peers, managers, and collaborating teams

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
• Experience with Data Structures or Algorithms gathered from completing a data structures or algorithms class, coursework, course projects, research, individual projects, internships, or other practical experience inside or outside of school or work (including open source hobby coding)
• Experience in Software Development and coding in a general-purpose programming language such as C, C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node.js (Typescript), Python, etc.
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Returning to a degree program after completion of the internship
• Experience programming in two or more of the languages including but not limited to C, C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node.js (Typescript) or Python
• Experience working with some of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
• Demonstrated interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
