System Support Specialist

The System Support Specialist is responsible for providing IT hardware and software support and responding to incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner. As part of the Service Delivery team, the primary goal of this role is to provide an exceptional user experience for all MH users across multiple sites. Proven customer service and communication skills, problem-solving ability, and knowledge of end-user computing equipment, Office 365 and Windows 10 are critical to successful performance in this role.
What must you have?
- Completion of a three-year college program in computer related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive working experience in IT support or customer services.
- In-depth working experience in supporting end-users.
What else do you bring?
- Healthcare experience in an acute care environment.
- Solid hardware knowledge with PCs, mobile devices, phones, and peripherals.
- Solid software knowledge with Windows 10, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, iOS and Android.
- Experience in PowerShell and/or Python scripting is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Endpoint Manager is preferred.
- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a busy hospital environment.
- Able to adopt modern information technology and systems and an enthusiastic adopter of new and novel technology solutions.
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.

Preferably, your profile also includes:
- A+ certification or continuous training of current technology.
- Experience in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Endpoint Manager.
