A career in our Tax Reporting and Strategy practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

Our team helps our clients expand the tax role to include research, analytics, and technologies to improve how their organisation collaborates and performs. You’ll focus on enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilising technology to deliver better quality output in less time.

What you’ll create and do

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

What you’ll bring to this role

An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax or related field

Bilingual proficiency in French and English; Fluency in a third language, including, but not limited to, Italian, Mandarin or Hebrew is considered an asset

Experienced with process automation technology, visualization tools, business and tax compliance, tax provision and advisory processes.

Interest in tax process improvement, tax risk management, and technology solution implementation.

Advanced knowledge of Excel features such as PowerQuery, PowerPivot and PowerBI.

Exposure in system implementation with ERP or Financial systems is an asset.

Have proven experience in analysing problems, identifying root cause issues, and investigating and evaluating solutions.

Be able to demonstrate an ability to work as a team, and to collaborate across a national consulting practice to build meaningful and influential relationships with clients and colleagues.
