Within TD Technology, the Business Banking Credit & Sales Technology Team owns a number of Technical Applications that cover the Sales and Credit underwriting needs of Small Business Banking and Commercial Banking. We are undertaking a huge multiyear Modernization journey and we are excited to add some new members to our amazing Team.

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Graduate degree preferred
• 7+ years of development and technology delivery experience with Agile Delivery Experience preferred

Advanced knowledge

• Experience of Infrastructure upgrade projects related to Java, Jboss & Oracle is required
• Works independently with minimal guidance leading the technical solutions for their respective pod
• Acts as a SME resource for colleagues with less experience
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
• 5+ years in a Development or Designer role is an asset

Job Description

• Responsible for leading the support for Business Banking Credit Applications:

• Lead cross-functional team of IT professionals to support assigned partner requirements.
• Responsible for coordinating application upgrades, patching, production incidents, audit requests, etc.
• Establish day-to-day management direction, define priorities and strategies consistent with business goals and aligned to the technology leadership team’s direction.
• Communicate business vision, goals and portfolio priorities to team members (e.g. Application Owners / Development Managers, Business Systems Analysis, Platform / Service and/or Technology Project Managers etc.).
• Work as a technical thought leader who can comprehend complex technical design patterns and help shape favorable business outcomes
