Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualification :

• Over 4 Years of IT experience in developing innovative software solutions using Python, Shell Scripting and C++ for Enterprise applications in Retail, Banking and Healthcare domains
• Design and development of data pipeline to extract, transform, load data to sources like S3
• Worked extensively on processing Realtime Payment reports and generating dashboards for Business and end users using Python3.x and Python libs
• Experienced with the use of popular Python libraries such as Pandas, csv, boto3, SQLAlchemy, datetime, s3fs, yaml, sys, os, awswrangler, cx_oracle and JSON
• Hands on working experience on AWS S3, EC2 instances, STS, IAM, Lambda Function, Athena, Glue, Glue ETL Job, ParameterStore, EventBridge, Cloud Watch, CodeBuild, ECS(ECR, Fargate), KMS, ALB and CodeCommit
• Deployed AWS cloud resources like IAM, lambda, glue, event bridge using Terraform cloud provisioning tool
• Good understanding in VPC, NACL, NAT, Subnets, Security group and Igw
• Work experience on file formats like CSV and json
• Expertise in working with different databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Worked on Linux Platform. Have used Shell scripting to automate jobs
• Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BBD) Framework
• Experience in developing web-based applications using Python OOPs and Django framework
• Strong in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Analysis and Design Patterns
• Excellent working knowledge in Linux shell environments using command line utilities
• Strong familiarity with Agile – Scrum and Kanban, and Waterfall Methodologies in SDLC
