Infosys is seeking a Java Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 year of experience in Design and architecture review.
- Very good experience in software development life cycle with good experience in Agile Development Model.
- Deep knowledge of Web development practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
- Hands on Experience in
- Java 8, Spring Boot, Java Microservices
- REST API’s
- Angular 11, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
- SQL DB
- Azure/AWS
- Kafka
- Excellent experience in designing patterns and Object Orient Design concepts
- Recent experience in utilizing Source Control & Build Tools, like Bitbucket, Jenkins etc.
- Basic understanding of SQL programing preferably with Oracle experience
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Ensuring a clear dependency chain, regarding the app logic as well as the file system
- Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules
- Good knowledge of TDD driven development and Unit testing frameworks
- Good knowledge of agile practices and DevOps.
- Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
- Good in communication and Analytical skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Analyze highly complex business requirements
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
