Infosys is seeking .NET Developer position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 Years of Information Technology experience.
• Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in the Canada are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years in Dot Net Core, Web APIs
• In-depth knowledge of .NET Framework, C# programming language.
• Proficiency in developing quality code – REST APIs (Web APIs), Writing clean, testable code using .NET Core 3.1 programming framework.
• Excellent development skills in SQL DB like MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL, knowledge of NoSQL is good to have.
• Good understanding of MVC, Microservices patterns.
• Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Good to have some exposure to AWS cloud native development (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS etc.)
• Familiarity with any CICD tools like CircleCI, Git, etc.
• Agile ways of working
• Should have worked at customer location and good verbal, non-verbal communication.
• Should have experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
