What will your typical day look like?

The position is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the integration of multiple projects including providing oversight of project status, managing project resources, ensuring project milestones are met, portfolio/project status reporting, and monitoring to keep projects on schedule and to budget within identified standards. Responsible for risk identification, mitigation and escalation as required through proper channels to ensure consistent and efficient delivery.

Manages the overall planning, execution, and delivery of high visibility projects following organizational procedures and agile methods to meet technology and business requirements on time and within budget.

  • Ensures project milestones are met according to the project schedule.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains all required project documentation (e.g., charters, schedules, plans, timelines, roadmaps).
  • Delivers timely project reports and performance dashboards.
  • Establishes and facilitates regular project leadership and team meetings and Agile ceremonies.
  • Tracks project progress, manages and escalates project risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Proactively identifies and manages the resolution of risks and issues that may negatively impact project deliverables, seeks, and implements innovative ways to remove project obstacles.
  • Utilizes key project management tools.
  • Documents, shares, and leverages project lessons learned.
  • Develops and executes project resource management plans and monitoring.
  • Partners and collaborates with agile scrum masters and cross-integration project teams for effective project delivery.
  • Builds and leads effective project teams.
  • Motivates and leads project teams instilling a mindset of collaboration and continuous process improvement.
  • Promotes effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.
  • Provides regular and timely feedback to team members and their respective managers.
  • Works with Leadership and Product management (product owners) to understand program and project stakeholders and identify opportunities to increase stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in technology project delivery
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience using Agile delivery methodology
  • In-depth knowledge of portfolio, businesses, functions, and all relevant stakeholders to successfully drive decisions and recommendation regarding the IT portfolio
  • Ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and project simultaneously
  • Demonstrates an understanding of overall portfolio/project goals and how results/deliverables impact the larger business organization
  • Agile/Scrum project management skills/experience, maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Project, Visio, Power Point, Teams, Excel, Word
  • Project Management certification (PMP)
  • Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience exercising mature judgment in delicate situations
  • Team leadership experience with the ability to earn trust while still challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations
  • Experience managing work planning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Experience managing requirements processes including conducting interviews and documenting requirements
  • Experience with industry standard System Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Experience in a large global, decentralized environment
