ROLE: The VP of finance’s Role is to overlook, recommend and implement different spheres of all Rinox company divisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

· Building an up-to-date cost analysis platform for all company divisions

· Working in collaboration with the Controller and/or Chief Accountant in all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.

· Analyzing company’s financial results concerning profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Providing a weekly overview and advanced KPI’s to the administration team weekly

· Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs. Analyzing vital financial ratios on a month-to-month basis.

· Coordinate and maintain all relationships with lending/financial institutions. Renegotiate rates on existing financing and conditions for future expansion plans.

· Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting and ensuring that records are kept following generally accepted accounting principles.

· Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.

· Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly and annual reports.

· Search and apply for Federal/Provincial subsidies for investment and growth projects.

· Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.

· Manage tax planning and compliance with all required federal, provincial and local regulations concerning payroll, property, sales and income taxes.

· Manage lease agreements and payment schedules for properties in the real estate investment division

· Oversee and participate in management decisions regarding cash, investments and assets in management

· Improve current ERP and MRP software to create automated business intelligence for future growth.

Requirements for this role

· 7-10 plus years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.

· Experience working in a medium-sized business environment strongly preferred.

· Recent experience scaling a finance operation from inception to at least $75 million in annual revenues.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Experience in a manufacturing business with operation costing methods

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.

· Ability to work without direct supervision and efficiently manage tasks and time.

· Merger and acquisition finance experience.
