Job description: The Wickaninnish Inn is currently accepting applications for the position of Welcome Ambassador. This position is responsible for controlling and guiding the arrival process for guests and staff at the Inn’s entrances; ensuring only authorized guests and staff are on property, providing COVID-19 questionnaire to ensure wellness, and to coordinate with various areas of the hotel to ensure public area occupancies are maintained.

Duties:

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux and AAA 4 & 5 Diamond Standards
• Welcome, control, and guide the arrival process for guests and staff at the Inn’s entrances
• Provide COVID-19 screening questionnaire and determine eligibility for entrance
• Radio coordination with other areas of the hotel
• Maintain required documentation for arrivals
• Some duties may change due to COVID-19 operating regulations/standards

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Clear, effective radio communication
• Ability to work AM and PM shifts
• Ability to work outdoors, standing for long periods of time
• Ability to convey emergency information in a confident and calm manner
• Sound judgement and ability to work alone
• A professionally groomed appearance
• Ability to maintain all COVID-19 operating regulations/standards
