Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Enterprise Data Management), the incumbent is responsible for enterprise program enhancements, support program tools/technology, support maintenance activities and own the policy and standards for the Data in Projects Team. They will work closely and take guidance from many enterprise stakeholders and internal team members.

Accountabilities Include:

  • Responsible for day to day support of program activities including Data Impact Assessments and Service Now tooling enhancements
  • Responsible for Data Impact tooling support (Service Now application)
  • Take ownership, identify and lead continuous improvement exercises of existing programs by finding inefficiencies and remediating them
  • Support the evolution of programs to reflect current landscape
  • Own/Support communication, change management and training plans to support programs
  • LOB point of contact for incoming issues and updates to our programs
  • Facilitate and document current data state and future data target states to ensure effects of data are understood and communicated across all project stakeholders
  • Work effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as needed;
  • Own and complete relevant work packages through collaboration with multiple stakeholders to prepare for operational readiness, managing deadlines and adjusting to changing work priorities
  • Take ownership and communicate progress on work packages, including requirements management, in a concise and timely manner, escalating issues to project manager, partners and manager where appropriate
  • Participate fully as a member of the EDGO team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues;
  • Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce

Requirements

  • Seasoned Business Analyst with proven ability to assess, facilitate and ensure deliver holistic data activities, on time and on budget, aligned to business needs
  • Experience leading data related initiatives with specific emphasis on Data Issues and Data Impact Assessments
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to understand implications of key decisions on policies, down-stream processes, etc.;
  • Experience in working on data integration projects or large scale, complex technology projects using formal project delivery methodology;
  • Hand-on experience working with Microsoft tools like MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
  • Understanding of Service Now tooling
  • Excellent relationship management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong organizational awareness;
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized to manage large amounts of information and details
  • Superior negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of platform and data warehouse design and principles is considered an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile projects, Jira and confluence tools is considered an asset
