Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 commensurate with experience

About the Role:
The Products & Services Coordinator is responsible for all new raw material sourcing for Real Food Kitchen Developments coupled with sourcing for an expanding product catalog of Real Food Kitchen Branded Products & Real Food For Real Kids branded products. They are also responsible for coordinating, cultivating, maintaining, and evolving strong vendor relationships along with the Director of Products.
Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:
Supplier & Internal Product Specification Coordination
Soliciting and gathering RFRK prescribed information/documentation/complete finished product specifications from food and packaging suppliers including updating current Supplier product portfolio.
New product sourcing for RFRK & RFK-Developing new practices to ensure sell sheets are evolved into product specifications with pertinent details respectively.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve off-spec products in conjunction with QA.
Documenting feedback, notes, next steps, and pictures from product sensory evaluations and shelf-life testing
Review of Nutritional panels for new ingredients to meet scope requirements
Information cascade and product/planning information conduit to Supply Chain Team
Vendor Partnerships and Product Development
Source and acquire pricing for all new ingredients to meet menu scope requirements and any contingency sourcing.
Cultivate and help to maintain strong vendor partnerships etc, that can assist in developing control brands (anything that is made for RFRK outside the RFK) and that understand and align with our company values
Coordinate the New Product Development Process, ensuring stakeholder alignment, budget requirements and cross-functional communication (stage gate)
Develop new custom products with third party manufacturers
Find new potential co-packers for our control brand
Other responsibilities as assigned
About You
Must-haves
Completion of college or university degree or combination of relative experiences
Completion of project management course or program
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Google sheets for financial analysis
Natural alignment with RFRK Food values and mission
Ability to think critically, problem-solve and make effective decisions
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner
Nice-to-haves
Experience in e-commerce
Project management experience
Motivated to improve current work practices and take ownership of responsibilities
Adaptable to new trends and technologies
