We are looking for an Administrative Technician to join our Medical Administration Directorate.
The administrative technician is responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief of Staff and/or surgeons in the directorate.
The Administrative Technician is responsible for providing administrative support to the Medical Director and/or physicians in the directorate. He/she ensures the smooth operation of the directorate by performing clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, organizing meetings, assisting in updating reports, organizing and tracking physical and electronic files, tracking and processing invoices and expenses, updating policies, procedures and minutes, and managing follow-ups.
The Administrative Technician will:

  • Manage agendas of various physicians including logistics for meetings.
  • Receive, screen and respond to incoming and outgoing calls, emails and mail; provide information, follow-up or redirect as required.
  • Coordinate logistics for business travel and conferences.
  • Compile data from various sources, prepares analysis reports and responsible for preparing presentations to various target groups/meetings.

Requirements

  • DEC in administration or equivalent; or a certificate of college studies in Administrative Techniques after having acquired relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experiences in administration or similar function
  • Bilingual (French, English) verbal and written.
  • Relevant experience in the field of health and social services, preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Interpersonal skills, autonomy and good work organization.
  • Able to work in a team.

We offer you:

Permanent full-time position.
Salary : $ 24.21 to $32.32 according to experience.
