The ProcurementManagement Office(PMO)is a newly created office within Service BC that will lead a major procurement project for the Provincial Contact Center. Following a defined lifecycle, engaging with stakeholders and collaborating with multiple operational business areas, the PMO has the responsibility to produce the best outcomes possible. This significant, high-complexity, high-value contract which will provide services to ministry partners and the citizens of British Columbia.
This position will provide analysis and support for a large scale project and/or several smaller scope projects with significant internal impact to government. Accountable for defining and controlling project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality. The Project Management Analyst will have expertise in project management analytics and the full life-cycle of a project.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree in business administration, public administration, or related field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must be qualified to complete Project Management Professional Designation within 6 months of commencement of position.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects and/or project components.
- A minimum of 2 years experience coordinating and monitoring programs and/or projects.
- A minimum of 2 years experience developing and/or maintaining tracking spreadsheets and producing reports.
- Experience in directing the work of contracted and staff resources.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- A validprofessional certificate in project management (i.e.Project Management Professional Designation).
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel, specifically MS Project and other project management software.
- Experience working in a public sector service delivery organization.
- Experience providing client service to internal and external stakeholders.
