If so, we are currently looking for an Advisor Construction & Project Management to develop and provide a professional level of field operations expertise, both practical and technical, inclusive of critical thinking related to project development, execution planning, cost estimation, construction quality, safety and environmental leadership; in support of Engineering Construction during planning, design, and construction.

What you will do:
Accountable to lead, assist and ensure applicable construction specifications meet Enbridge business needs
Demonstrate sound understanding of the construction industry as a whole and able to develop and communicate mitigation strategies related to pipeline industry related construction execution risks.
Manage the completion of projects using construction and project management principles. Projects are typically cross-functional and often require forming and leading cross-departmental teams.
Provide construction and project management support for significant pipeline construction projects. Project aspects to be considered include the planning, design, approval and procurement of materials, tendering, constructing, testing and commissioning of the pipelines or related facilities
Ensure efficient coordination of technical and administrative resources and coordination with other internal and/or external stakeholders
Participate in comprehensive project risk assessments and assist in developing/implementing appropriate strategies to resolve those challenges
Provide technical consultation to regional departments and junior engineering staff on matters of policy, procedure, or practice. This requires detailed knowledge of codes and standards, regulations, materials, company policies and procedures and practices.
Who you are:
Related university degree and four‐plus years’ experience OR six‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience
Multi-year project management (3+ years of experience) relating to field operations, planning and design, and execution
Mechanical Aptitude considered an asset
Previous project management experience
A P.Eng, or EIT designation with eligibility for Professional registration in Ontario will be considered an asset
Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to criminal check and a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire
Working Conditions:
Moderate travel within Ontario. Occasional travel within Canada
