Job description: Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Toronto, Ontario Office:

BI Administration Technical Lead

Completely hands-on role which would involve playing different hats include that of a Data Architect, Solution Designer, Technical Lead, Delivery Lead, Support Lead, etc for the DWH Solution Team.

We will count on you to:

Supporting Production, QA and Development environments of Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik and other BI Tools
Administration of Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik and Prior experience installing, upgrading and supporting environments
Outlining best practices for BI tools repository usage, security controls, version control, code migration, and scripting, logging, and other development and deployment procedures
Troubleshooting during system downtime to restore service (working with vendor if necessary), determining root cause and establishing procedures to avoid recurrence
Have over 5 years of hands-on experience on Business Objects is a must
Have over 5 years of experience in Oracle ,Mongo , Postgres database is a must
Must have Installation and configuration experience on Linux environment with Business Objects and Strong experience in Installation and configuration of third party libraries
Have over 5 years’ experience on Business Objects administration, installation and configuration on linux environment is a must
Strong understanding and exposure on Data warehousing concepts. Should have worked on at least 1 Data Warehouse project in the past.
End to End production support experience and good knowledge of ITIL concepts
Have strong experience of managing Data Warehousing and BI Projects

What you need to have:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in computer science or related field.
Ability to review and provide feedback for complex applications.
Proven experience working in onsite and offshore environment on major delivery programs.
Knowledge of all phases of SDLC and full lifecycle implementations.
Exposure to Business Intelligence Technologies like Analytics Tools and Data Warehouse
Exposure to industry architecture and experience with design patterns
Exposure to Cloud Technologies
