Our client’s principal operations center in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, is looking for a Bilingual Operations Administration Support. This position is critical in supporting the operations and payroll functions. The Operations Administration Support is vital in ensuring accuracy, meeting payroll deadlines, providing operational support and ensuring the work complies with our policies, procedures, and best practices. This role interacts with drivers, managers, supervisors, recruitment, payroll, and the safety team. This is a full time, permanent role with full benefits after 3 months and RRSP company matching program. Salary is 45K. Hours Monday- Friday (8.30 – 5.00 pm)

Responsibilities

  • Work with operations and manage the payroll process and required information by collecting, calculating, and populating input data for successful payment to employees
  • Be a point of contact for any payroll inquiries, working with our corporate payroll team and operations team
  • Working with operations to respond to payroll inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Provide Operations dispatch support
  • Assist with any vacation coverage for the operations team
  • Data Entry into our AS400 system
  • Filing, copying, answering operations phone and email inquiries
  • Prepare reports
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have 1-3 years’ experience in the transportation industry
  • Good communication skills – both oral and written in French and English (including good phone etiquette)
  • Must pay attention to details
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently
  • Must have detailed knowledge of dispatching
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be computer literate
  • Good problem solver
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
  • AS 400 and MS Excel experience is an asset
