Job description: Our client, a food supplier, with an important offering of private label products, is looking for a national key account manager, with experience with key food retailers of the Canadian market. The key responsabilities are:
Build, negotiate and execute the customer plans, based on joint business planning of opportunities.
Manage the budget to surpass the volume and profits objectives. Forecast accuracy to meet demand.
Manage the customer requests for quotations, to maximize growth and margin profitability.
Successfully manage price changes, driven by various variables.
Stay on top of category trends to fuel continuous growth. Successfully manage new products introductions.
This position can be based either in Toronto or Montreal.

Requirements

• Essential – Private Label key account selling food experience
• Essential – Bachelor degree, commerce ou similar
• Essential – Minimum 2 years food key account management
• Essential – Bilingual ( English & French )
• Important – Food markets knowledge (Ontario, Qc, national)

Knowledge and abilities

• Essential – MS Office Excel, including pivot tables
• Essential – Analytical skills & interpretation of data
• Essential – Superior communication, presentation skills
• Essential – Relationship building, negotiation skills
• Essential – Strategic business planning (4P’s)
