Job Description

What You’ll be Doing

As the Business Specialist, Wealth Management Operations Transformation, you will provide support on the development and analysis of instrumentation tools for CIBC’s Wealth Management Operations unit. You will also proactively analyze and recommend enhancements to existing business managed technologies that will enhance operational effectiveness and maintain CIBC’s competitive edge. You will ensure that all solutions are implemented in an effective manner and follow CIBC’s policies, procedures and standards. .

How You’ll Succeed

  • Data Sciences and Technical capabilities – Knowledge of instrumentation tools (Tableau, VBA/advanced Macros, Alteryx, ADO (Azure))
  • Understanding Business Processes- Understand operational processes, ideally related to wealth management business processes and products. Provide a continuous improvement mindset and proven record of adding value by finding efficiencies and automations in current processes and procedures, consequently enhancing the performance of operations teams by proactively participating in project activities.
  • Business Analysis and Operations Processing – Demonstrate experience with requirements gathering, designing or modifying processes, managing the change and implementation as well as working with a wide variety of business partners. Provide value through an operational processing background and have a good understanding of wealth management business processes, products applications and systems.
  • Relationship Building/Communication – Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and excel at developing relationships with internal and external business partners. Develop and recommend client focused solutions to routine and non-routine operational problems, incident mitigation and improvements that promote more straight through processing.
