This is specialized administrative work in developing and implementing business process change management plans and related communications materials in support of major business and technology projects. An incumbent leads the development and implementation of business process change management throughout all phases of projects; works closely with project sponsors, key leaders, department managers and project managers; and may provide direction to others engaged in related project work. The work is performed under minimal supervision and the incumbent exercises considerable independence of judgement and action within the framework of guidelines, established policies and procedures, discussing complex or policy matters with a superior. Work performance is reviewed by a superior in terms of effective services rendered and the achievement of desired objectives. Develops specific approach for each project to maximize adoption and minimize resistance; develops measurements criteria; validates approach to assess suitability; develops change management and communication plans; collaborates with Project Managers to integrate activities supporting business process change; develops activity schedules. Monitors and evaluates user adoption and CM results; conducts pre and post implementation assessments of readiness and user adoption; collects and analyses feedback, presents findings and recommendations to leadership teams and implements corrective actions as required; schedules celebrations of success. Performs related work as required.
Qualifications include a degree in a relevant field, courses in Change Management plus considerable related experience, including some experience in project related change management roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to apply project management principles and to assist in the leadership of project teams. Ability to identify and analyze impacts of technological change on business processes, staff capabilities and culture, to identify risks and potential points of resistance and to develop and recommend mitigation tactics. Ability to assess support requirements for sponsors, managers and supervisors and to prepare a plan to support same, to coach managers to champion change and to lead presentations, training and/or communications. Ability to monitor, analyze and evaluate user adoption and CM results, to conduct pre and post implementation assessments of readiness and user adoption, to present findings and recommendations and to implement corrective actions. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. PROSCI Change Management Certification is required.
This is a Temporary Full Time opportunity to December 12, 2022.
