The Contract Management Specialist (“CMS”) will be responsible for completing lease and loan documentation on those transactions approved by Ritchie Bros. Financial Services.

The representative effectively and efficiently interfaces with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicates effectively and coordinates with all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Refers all negotiations with respect to contracts to the appropriate Account Manager and coordinates all addendums to existing contracts.
  • Accurate and timely completion of document generation by lender and delivery of documents to our customers
  • Audits existing contracts and oversees contract modifications and deficiencies to submit to our Lenders for funding
  • Manages workflow on a priority basis with respect to status of contracts for management
  • Participate & conduct in special projects and additional adhoc duties as assigned
  • Adheres to existing RBFS policies and procedures while identifying potential improvements to better manage risk.
  • Can be called upon to provide training to new hires

Major Accountabilities:

Prepares and completes perfect documentation by:

  • Matching approvals with equipment cost and serial numbers is critical
  • Working closely with AM’s to ensure accurate information is received to prepare documents correctly
  • Working with customer to obtain all finance requirements to complete funding

Provide a high level of Customer Service to external and internal stakeholders:

  • Responding to requests for information/clarification regarding documentation and funding situations in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Escalating more serious situations/problems to the Team Leads/ Funding Managers as needed for speedy and equitable resolution.
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with team members and auction representatives to resolve issues/problems quickly and efficiently before they result in loss of business.

What You Bring:

Must Have:

  • Administration Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; this is an external customer and internal stakeholder facing position.
  • Comfortable with high paced environments
  • MS Office & Excel experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience handling a time sensitive Case-Load
  • Loan Application or Salesforce software experience
  • Spanish or French fluency
  • Financial Services background
  • Team environment background
