What you need to do the job:
– 2 years of ETL experience
– 5 years of Microsoft SQL (able to run complex queries) experience
– 2 years of BI cube Cognos experience
– Ability to collaborate closely and be in constant communication with other members of the department (Management, System Administrator, Developers, Project Manager)
– Following experience: Database administration; Server maintenance and configuration (MsSql)
– Support for Cognos BI and ETL process
A typical day at work:
– Execute and maintain system operations
– Support the various development teams to ensure that their use of middleware (application servers, database, etc.) is consistent with industry best practices and allows a high level of availability
– Work with development teams to implement automated deployment processes in a continuous delivery environment
– Implement the required monitoring of all system components of production environments to ensure their operational availability
– Document alerts for threshold monitoring and common causes of alerts
– Participate in the deployment of applications on production and other environments
– Support developer development environments (installation, configuration)
– Participate in the development or improvement of infrastructure architecture
– Develop and implement the technologies necessary for the development of the digital product market
– Structure data to meet the application needs of the organization (Digital, BI, web applications, etc.)
