The Role

You will have the opportunity to be part of Live Nation’s newest music venue from the ground up. You will be responsible for building your Food & Beverage team and meeting all opening deadlines and requirements. Once the venue is fully operational, you will be responsible for inspiring that team to create and deliver a fun, safe and entertaining experience that will exceed our guests’ expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and manage an engaging and strong food & beverage team
  • Conduct annual evaluations of hourly staff and supervisors.
  • Set goals for individuals and outline team’s action plans based on business OKR’s
  • Hold departmental staff meetings to keep everyone informed of our opportunities/progress
  • Provide ongoing training for staff as needed
  • Coordinates and aids in execution/facilitation of all on-site training programs, seminars, operational rollouts and further learning & development needs
  • Meet or exceed budgetary expectations on all associated line items
  • Work closely with GM on menu design
  • Cost control on labor, F&B
  • Assist with developing monthly and quarterly specials, events, etc.
  • Manage monthly departmental inventory
  • Maintain, coordinate, and maximize labor based on nightly changes in sales/business volume.
  • Maintain all standards Set by the venue, including service, health & safety, etc.
  • Ensure full compliance of in house & provincial alcohol policies and procedures
  • Ensure environmental standards are adequate (light, sound, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, promotional materials, etc.)
  • Coordinate and over-see private/special events per event specifications

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years high volume experience in fine dining/restaurant/or club operations
  • Previous experience with bottle service, craft cocktails, craft beers, and high end wines.
  • Previous experience with VIP Food and Beverage offerings.
  • College Degree in related field
  • All required provincial F&B certifications
  • Proven ability to analyze data trends to create strategies for improvement
  • Previous experience with F&B menu creation as asset

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced and has a moderate to loud noise level
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends)
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping
  • Ability to wear an earpiece for radio communication
