Your Opportunity

The successful candidate will have a passion for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Administrative professional with a passion for customer service and attention to detail.

As administrative assistant you will work with both the travel coordinator, administrative and equipment teams to help staff with booking travel, assisting with timecards, assistance with expenses, shipping of equipment and aiding the Senior Office Coordinator in the daily operations of a large consulting office

Your Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and booking travel (air, hotel, vehicle rental) of individuals and large crews mobilizing to remote areas in British Columbia, ensuring protocols are in place

Printing and binding small reports and field notes as required

Assist staff in procuring equipment and supplies

Assist staff with weekly timecard administration

Assist staff with expense submissions

Assist staff with artifact cleaning and submission

Provide coverage for reception

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

The successful candidate will be:

Confident user of MS office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Possess a willing, adaptable and flexible approach with a ‘can do’ attitude

Solid written and verbal skills

Proven high attention to detail

Experience within a fast-paced, high demand environment

Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team

Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work

Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Interest in Health and Safety

Ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner

Flexible work hours on occasion

Education and Experience

Education relating to Business or Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service capacity
