Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Food and Beverage, Conference Services, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Determine, establish, and implement service standards
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the banquet staff on a per shift basis
  • Ensure staff training programs are implemented and measured
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures that ensure all company standards are met
  • Cash out associates following cash handling procedures and investigate “over and shorts”
  • Maintain and monitor product levels to avoid product or supply shortages
  • Estimate, order and inspect supplies and
  • Ensure that all equipment is setup properly and operating efficiently
  • Assist associates with serving guests as business levels demand
  • Arrange for and ensure proper sequence of service for events

  • Minimum three years of cash, food and beverage service management required, preferably in a
  • high volume foodservice operation
  • Excellent customer relations, communication and problem solving skills
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Hospitality Management is an asset
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Must have current Food Safe Level 1 and Smart Serve certificates, as per provincial guidelines
  • Daytime hours, primarily M-F with flexibility for some evenings
