Under the supervision of an Officer, the AIS NAV Specialist, Associate 2, is responsible for the calculation of the daily, weekly or monthly net asset value for various Hedge fund clients. The position is also responsible for coordinating with other service teams in order to provide full service fund administration services to our client base.

What you will be responsible for

As an AIS NAV Specialist, Associate 2 you will

  • Prepare daily, weekly and/or monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for their assigned funds
  • Review cash reconciliations daily (no unresolved discrepancies)
  • Review portfolio position reconciliations daily (including equities, bonds, swaps, options, fund of funds, foreign exchange, futures and other evolving derivative instruments)
  • Review and ensure all positions are priced correctly daily
  • Prepare the partner/shareholder allocation calculations, including management and incentive fee calculations
  • Perform research and resolution on exception items; escalate unresolved issues to management as needed
  • Proactively share new ideas to support process improvement and changes to team processes
  • Communicate effectively with others and seek clarifications where required
  • Demonstrate progression of process knowledge and understanding of all relevant functional activities in the team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in alternative/fund accounting or related experience
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Geneva would be a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
