The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to manage the experience for all Brand Loyalty Program guests and Homeowners. This is achieved through the leadership of the Service Express and Westin Experience Specialist associate teams. The Westin Guest Experience Supervisor is a Brand advocate, Lead Concierge and Champion of the Marriott Bonvoy Program.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • In collaboration with Front Office Leaders, establishes and manages appropriate success measures to provide meaningful guidance, coaching and counselling to subordinates. Actively utilize success measures to guide performance, service & engagement standards
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests; coordinates correspondence with Elite Loyalty Members to positively influence Elite Appreciation.
  • Creates a positive Guest Experience by executing the Brand Standard Check-In Procedure, Stayover communication and Check-Out Procedure of all hotel guests.
  • Ensures Brand Standards Audit compliancy; stays current with all Westin and Marriott initiatives
  • Ensures appropriate safety and emergency procedures with supporting training programs are established/followed to ensure a safe environment for all hotel guests and associates.
  • As part of the hotel leadership team, may be asked to work in the capacity of Manager on Duty. Performs the duties and responsibilities of the MOD role.
  • Hotel management, hospitality management or business management diploma / degree
  • 2 years’ experience within Front Desk or Housekeeping operations; Accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to engage and recognize employees
  • Proven ability to manage challenging and dynamic situations tactfully and appropriately to a resolution (i.e. customer relations, inventory management, hotel emergencies etc.)
  • Attention to details relating to guest room and public space conditions
  • Strong ability and aptitude with computer-based tools and systems (i.e. Excel, Access, NAV, hotel information system)
