What’s in a day?

No pressure, but as the Guest Service Agent your department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel, so it’s your job to ensure it’s a good one. Top of the list of responsibilities is to make sure you offer a warm, welcome and speedy check-in and check-out service for guests.

Other responsibilities:

  • Answer phone-calls and process reservations
  • Deal with customer requests and complaints in a polite, professional manner
  • Efficiently handles all payments, whether by cheque, credit card or cash
  • Actively promotes and participates in brand and hotel marketing/ sales initiatives (up-selling, promotions)
  • Has superior knowledge of city and key tourist points of interest
  • Ensures systems and procedures for guest safety and security are observed
  • Input Group Rooming lists

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma

Prior experience as Front Desk Agent preferred but not a deal-breaker with the right attitude and desire to learn

Ability to work well under pressure

Available to work for week-endsÂ

  • Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience
