Job title: Head of Domains and Partners Channel Management

Job description: Location: Gilbert, AZ or REMOTE

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Partners and Domains Channel Management is the connection between our Customers, Care, and our Product Development and Experience teams. As the leader of the Partners and Domains Channel Management team you will lead a team that drives product and experience improvements. You will be working with cross-functional teams of Care leadership, Program Managers, Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, GTM teams, and Engineers in an internationally distributed environment. You will partner with Care and Services to ensure we are delivering world class experiences to our customers by enabling Care with the support tooling and deep technical expertise of our products they need to be successful. You will be the SME of both the most technical aspects of our products and have a deep understanding of the benefits of the products for our customers.

The work is challenging, fast-paced, and diverse. You’ll need to bring a proven technical acumen, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative work ethic with excellent project and people management skills.

What you’ll get to do…

  • Lead a team of Channel Managers. Leverage data insights to drive initiatives that improve customer experience and enhance revenue.
  • Manage projects and programs that will impact the technical support and sales strategies of Care & Services
  • Coordinate the launch of new products and services into Care
  • Monitor project and program progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and sponsors to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
  • Creating and radiating project and program roadmaps and maintaining project metrics dashboards for regular stakeholder reporting
  • Partner with product management and engineering on technical requirements of product improvements and technical support tooling
  • Develop product collateral, technical support materials, and trainings as needed to support revenue growth and improving customer experience metrics
  • Gather feedback from Care and GoDaddy customers to make our products better
  • Perform performance analysis in order to develop a strategy for improving customer support experience and driving incremental sales for Partner products and experiences
  • Various ad-hoc requests from Care & Services, Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to understand customer feedback and experience
  • Establish and foster solid working relationships, with a strong emphasis on pragmatic problem solving
  • Ability to work flexible hours (outside of 8AM -5PM PST) as needed to partner with international teams
  • May require occasional business travel (

10%) to other GoDaddy locations or partner sites

Your experience should include…

  • Profound technical acumen of Partner and Domains products and the needs and requirements of SMBs and Web Professionals
  • Direct experience working on the Care team or working alongside this team highly desirable
  • A passion for training/coaching one’s team on both technical product knowledge and sales skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to improve our product and customer experiences
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and how this can be used to create sales programs in a large, matrix organization
