You will use your expertise to:

  • Create a Health Information landscape using the Health Information Management (HIM) Guideline as a starting point, develop the Health Information Landscape
  • Conduct gap analysis of a business area’s health information management program
  • Coordinate the physical file move for a business area
  • Assess legacy records management practices and implement best practice
  • Facilitate with the implementation of a retention schedule
  • Facilitate with updating HIM Guideline and procedures and training of staff
  • Create and implement a Health & Wellness system access audit program

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Current enrollment in a Business discipline at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term (Attach your transcripts with your application and clearly indicate the length of work term for which you are available)

Preference for:

  • Attention to details, accuracy, and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of records management best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will be based in our Fort McMurray office
  • This is an eight-twelve work term, starting May 2022
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
