Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner in interactions.
- Ensures that all guests are made to feel welcome upon arrival and departure.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Provides a high level of customer service. This position includes basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply or divide for simple inquiries.
- Maintain and update hotel database including replying to emails.
- Register arriving guests and check-outs as well as attending to cancellations or change of hotel room reservations.
- Ensures that any special billing instructions are noted and passed on to accounting/front desk in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer and respond to customer inquiries, reservation calls, room service, valet and bell services.
Qualifications
- High School / College Diploma or Prior Hotel front desk work experience is preferred
- Experience using a hotel reservation/booking system is an asset
- Good English communication skills are essential.
- Exceptional organizational skills and able to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Must possess as professional and courteous personality, being able to remain calm in a stressful situation.
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours, may include night shifts
