Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner in interactions.
  • Ensures that all guests are made to feel welcome upon arrival and departure.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Provides a high level of customer service. This position includes basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply or divide for simple inquiries.
  • Maintain and update hotel database including replying to emails.
  • Register arriving guests and check-outs as well as attending to cancellations or change of hotel room reservations.
  • Ensures that any special billing instructions are noted and passed on to accounting/front desk in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer and respond to customer inquiries, reservation calls, room service, valet and bell services.

Qualifications

  • High School / College Diploma or Prior Hotel front desk work experience is preferred
  • Experience using a hotel reservation/booking system is an asset
  • Good English communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and able to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must possess as professional and courteous personality, being able to remain calm in a stressful situation.
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours, may include night shifts
