As our Hotel Maintenance Worker (Pools), you will be responsible for ensuring the proper conditioning and maintenance of all pool/spa facilities on the resort, including but not limited to, properly balance water chemistry, cleanliness of the pool/spa and surrounding area, and ensuring that all safety equipment is functional and tested before each days use. Additionally, you will respond to dispatch calls throughout the resort that requires maintenance services.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Troubleshoot pool system components to ensure minimum downtime
- Maintain proper water quality by providing proper disinfection as well as water balance
- Proper chemical storage, usage and handling
- Maintain facility in a clean and safe manner
- Perform minor repairs to Swimming pools and Spa tubs equipment
- General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings
- Enhancing the guest experience by representing Blue Mountain Resorts with a courteous and customer service demeanour at all times
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- General knowledge and 1-2 years experience in all facets of Building Maintenance
- Certified Pool Operator certificate is an asset
- Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
- Good understanding of pool/spa facilities management systems and all its components
- Able to identify and evaluate risks on Pools/Spas and determine strategy to minimize
