Job title: Hotel Sales Manager
Job description: The Sales Manager generates profitable revenue through outside direct sales and by identifying, developing, and maintaining property sales relationships and marketing objectives for our properties. Responsible for maximizing the occupancy and the average daily rate of the hotels through signing corporate accounts and ensuring that each listed account meets/exceeds assigned sales targets.
As Sales Manager you will:
Establish/leverage a client base of organizations, individuals, social groups and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales, to secure short and long-term bookings for all tier assigned hotels and resorts.
Create and execute a sales plan specific to relevant market assignments.
Provide a day to day leadership for achieving booking goals and property revenues to the onsite sales personnel.
Oversee, hunt, produce, maintain all new and currently contracted Local Negotiated Accounts & Global Accounts through the sales process, accountability and relationship building.
Provide customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in the current sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Review the competitive analysis report, competitive shopping reports and uses other resources to maintain an awareness of the hotel’s market position.
Produce weekly sales reports & activities for the Head of Marketing as a direct report and to the CEO as indirect report. Work closely with Operations team /managers and onsite sales coordinators.
Evaluate the property’s participation in various sales channels and develops strong working relationships that enable to proactively position and market the property.
Schedule group rooms, conventions and business group activities at the hotel.
Requirements:
Proactive approach, with exceptional problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor, and as a part of a collaborative team.
Originate and carry out sales campaigns, trade shows, roadshows & blitzes.
Polished appearance and demeanor, with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Able to deal effectively and interact well with the guest and employees.
Hotel Corporate Sales experience preferred
2+ years post-high school education
