This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a working vacation in beautiful Banff National Park! Our client is located in the pristine Alberta Rocky Mountains giving you access to world famous, hiking, dining, shopping and amenities, living at this luxury hotel for the duration of your seasonal employment.
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant at this iconic property, you are at the heart of the hotel and a trusted brand ambassador. You will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that all guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space while being a part of creating a unique and memorable experience for them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Housekeeping/Room Attendants
The key job functions:
- Clean all assigned guest rooms to standard upon check out. This includes making beds, change sheets, vacuuming, cleaning, folding, dusting and polishing guest rooms.
- Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest offering exceptional customer service
- Anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
- Be knowledgeable about the property and surroundings with the ability to offer directions or suggestions if approached
- Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
Education:
- High School Diploma
Qualifications
- Exhibit consistent attention to detail and efficiency
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Display superior multitasking abilities, time management and organization
- Have the ability to prioritize effectively
- Be a motivated team player
- Display a friendly and caring disposition with guests and team members
Experience:
- Cleaning experience (Hotel housekeeping an asset)
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Able to bend and kneel with comfort
- Physically fit to be standing and walking throughout shift
Base Salary: $16/hr
Included for Seasonal Workers:
- Free on-site accommodations for entirety of employment term
- Two meals a day or equivalent
- Access/Discounts to world class amenities, hiking, paddle boards, kayaks
- Free Parking on site
- Transport at the beginning and end, of assignment depending on location and availability may be provided but not guaranteed.
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per work.
- 5 days working, 2 days off/week
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
