We are hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor for our upcoming Summer season with continued employment for our winter season. As our Housekeeping Supervisor you will work along side the Building Services Housekeeping team completing our regular housekeeping duties. Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas, ensuring quality control, with a high level attention to detail. You will be encouraged to love the satisfaction that a freshly made bed and a stack of bleached towels bring to your life.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hiring, training and scheduling of all housekeeping staff
• Quality Control with daily room and common area inspection, involving an extremely high level of attention to detail
• Work alongside housekeeping staff in all regular housekeeping duties
• Manage supplies, equipment, amenities and linen inventory; responsible for order of stock to maintain required levels.
• Oversee all aspects of hotel laundry service, including linens laundered in-house, as well as organize transport and pick-up of any linens laundered at outsourced companies
• Participate in departmental budgeting, financial planning and management reporting

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong hospitality background with supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills
• Must be relatively fit with a willingness to perform physical labour, both indoors and out
• Flexible schedule with availability to work days, nights and weekends
• Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
