Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager is responsible for employee data security and the quality ownership for all employee data across CN. The incumbent ensures compliance with data privacy legislation and internal requirements through robust employee data security processes and manages employee data quality. Furthermore, the position is accountable for implementing and maintaining data governance and security for employee data across CN and will be called to participate in HR transformation activities including end to end process optimization and data cleanup activities. Moreover, the role oversees the efficient management of the HR Call Center and for leads a team of Data Specialists and Call Center Specialists.

Main Responsibilities

Employee Data Management

· Oversee the daily operations of CN’s Data Management team

· Ensure compliance with Data Privacy legislation

· Oversee security accesses to employee data across the network

· Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Operations and Information and Technology (I&T) on employee data enhancement and compliance requirements

· Establish and lead data quality audits

· Lead data cleanliness efforts

· Automate employee data entry activities

· Create and deliver training to stakeholders manipulating employee data

HR Call Center Management

· Oversee daily operations of CN’s HR Call Center team

· Maintain a continuous improvement process that allows team members to make improvement suggestions and enhance service quality as well as operational efficiency

· Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement related to all aspects of service design, including intake, triage, end-to-end case resolution, knowledge, metrics, and quality assurance

Governance and Optimization

· Ensure governance of employee data across the network

· Develop, standardize and review operational procedures, knowledge articles, job aids, decision trees and other operational tools on a regular basis

· Publish regular scorecards for the HR community highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), trends, new and modified processes, and services as well as other key information

· Participate in end-to-end process review and optimization initiatives within HR

People Management

· Lead a team of Specialists HR Center and Specialists Employee Master Data

· Onboard and train new hires

· Conduct one-on-one regular meetings to ensure regular feedback, answer questions, understand career objectives and build actionable development plans

· Hold regular team meetings focusing on intra-team workflow, team building, operational performance, and other topics

· Participate in recruitment, onboarding, talent review, goal setting, and career development activities

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and stress.

Requirements

Experience

o Team and Employee Data Management

o Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team and as a Data Governance and Security Manager

o Experience in coaching

o Experience maintaining and improving processes

o Experience working with large client bases internally and externally

o Experience on data security, governance, regulatory compliance, and analytics

o Experience working with modern Cloud solutions such as ServiceNow and Human Capital Management (HCM) including Workday, Oracle Cloud, and SuccessFactors applications

o Experience designing low-friction business processes

o Experience in business analysis*

Education/Certification/Designation

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline

· Six Sigma certification*
