Requirements / conditions of employment:

• Good knowledge of the technical processes in metal or wood processing
• Manufacture experience in furniture, displays/fixtures, or cabinets
• DEP in industrial engineering
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to read plans and understand specifications
• Must be bilingual (French, English)

Role and responsibilities:

• Read plans and understand specifications to create the list of materials
• Prepare estimates based on contracts, drawings and specifications
• Evaluate costs
• Contact subcontractors for pricing
• Prepare expense statements, costs and forecasts
• Assist the project manager in coordinating projects
