Title: Information Management Analyst – Information Management Discipline – Mississauga
Position Summary:
The analyst will help support projects with digital delivery, managing our common data environment and information management processes.
The Information Management group is seeking an Information Management Analyst with interests in Reporting to the Regional Lead, you will support projects based out of our Mississauga location.
As an entry level position to the Information Management discipline, you will be exposed to a variety of key areas on a rotational basis to gain broad exposure to Hatch’s digital processes and tools including:
- Digital delivery, including BIM coordination and support
- Deployment & implementation of our Common Data Environment (tools & systems) supporting digital project delivery (BIM)
- Common Data Environment systems configuration and application support
- Information management, including information delivery planning, support of proposals, information production and delivery processes

Responsibilities:
- Setup and deploy Hatch’s Digital Project Delivery environment focusing on data, BIM processes and CAD applications according to organizational best practices
- Take part in identifying and implementing areas of new technology, applications, and processes
- Support the development of the company’s digital standards
- Continuing support and training of in-house digital (BIM) cross discipline processes and CAD capabilities within Hatch
- Provide guidance and training to other members of the team and business when required
- Assist in developing and implementing internal Hatch processes and procedures
- Ensures digital standards are being followed by project stakeholders
- Support project stakeholders with information exchange (models, drawings data, documents)
- Liaise directly with and promote increased collaboration between project stakeholders
- Advise Hatch’s project managers and project teams with regards to digital (BIM) best practices to ensure information coordination
Education and Experience:
- Must be working towards graduating in 2021, or recently graduated from a Bachelor of Information Management/Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university/college.
- An undergraduate Engineering/Computer Science degree or similar
- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret project needs and translate them into data and information requirements
- Knowledge of data systems and computer systems for dashboarding, knowledge of PowerBI an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts

- Understanding of design, BIM methodologies and its application in CAD design, planning and construction management
