Job description: context
The person will be responsible for managing projects in an Agile mode to lead a large document scanning project. Its role is to carry out the functional supervision and coordination of the contributors involved in the delivery of the application and technological axis, on time and on budget. He plans, prioritizes and coordinates the work in order to keep the commitments made in line with the objectives to be achieved. It ensures the quality of the deliverables, the performance and the mobilization of the team of contributors. The nature of the files and projects requires extensive and in-depth expertise in its area of expertise. There are many connections and he is called upon to interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. Mastering interpersonal relationships then becomes an essential skill. He acts as an expert and exercises a leadership and influencing role with decision-making bodies and work teams.
Responsibilities
Carry out the planning of the deliverables of the application and technological axis as well as the cost estimate of the project taking into account the issues, complexity, stakeholders and links with other projects.
Perform functional supervision and coordination of contributors involved in the delivery of the application and technological axis. Ensure the performance of the team, the quality control of the work, the identification of standards, methods and procedures to be applied within the framework of the project.
Coordinate all deliverables in accordance with agreed agreements, costs and deadlines and ensure the performance and consistency of the application and technological axis with the established orientations.
Develop risk analysis, impacts and related strategies in order to manage the risk level of the application and technology axis.
Manage, in collaboration with the project manager, the requested changes, experimentation with solutions and strategies relating to the application and technological axis. Ensure the availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms.
Required profile:
Demonstrate a minimum of 10 (ten) years of relevant experience in a similar role;
Have experience with the CGI organization (an asset);
Bilingual;
Be comfortable discussing technological issues and making the right choices with your team;
Experience in the management / coordination of several stakeholders / contributors;
Experience in project management in the banking sector (an asset);
Experience in project management in an Agile mode.”
