We have an opening for a Operations & Admin Manager to join our team working at our branch offices in Eastern Ontario.
Reporting to the Director of Distribution, the Operations & Admin Manager works closely with a team of insurance professionals managers to support the day to day operations of all branches in the Region, enable our Regional Managers to achieve our business goals and lead engagement and charity events for our team.
What you will be doing:
- Manage all contracts and facilities administration duties of all locations in Eastern Ontario (total of 15), including being the main point of contact with our corporate Facilities team
- Maintain excellent relationships with our local vendors and landlords
- Meet regularly with Eastern Ontario Regional PL and CL managers, and support our strategic goals by enabling operational and administrative initiatives for the Region.
- Maintain excellent relationships with Insurance company representatives both in underwriting and management and lead projects related to regional training and audits.
- Works effectively with all internal PL and CL leaders in the region to ensure a high level of coordination of resources is achieved and support optimal growth.
- Support a strong employee engagement in the region by leading and coordinating engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion initiatives as well as promoting a strong community presence.
- Oversee the overall adequate manning of our branches across the Region. Provide advice to Regional and local managers on employees vacation requests.
What you bring to the table:
- Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
- Strong management skills
- Experience in Marketing
- Strong team work and collaboration skills.
- Analytical reading and interpretation of numbers
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
