Position Overview:Reporting to the Digital Productivity Solutions Leader, this strategic position has global accountability for digital product roadmaps focused on app development and process automation. Collaborating with software development leaders and architects, you will lead a team of high-performing Product Managers, who work with business leaders and stakeholders to create digital products and automate business processes, improve productivity, and deliver DELIGHTFUL user experiences.

Job Description:
Team Leadership
- Motivate your team and inspire others to trust and follow you
- Establish a fail/learn-fast culture of collaboration, engagement, continuous improvement and reward experimentation
Product Development Champion
- Create the vision and strategic product portfolio roadmap
- Champion Product Management concept and philosophy
- Continuously improve the global product strategy directly aligned to enable Finning strategic objectives
Business Relationship Management
- Facilitate ideation sessions with stakeholders within the organization and champion ideas to create apps and automate processes
- Build strong relationships as a member of internal steering committees to deliver successful solutions that meet business needs
Technology Improvement
- Lead the evaluation of potential new opportunities and products
- Point person for Digital Productivity Solutions stakeholder engagement, business idea intake and analyze customer business opportunities to optimize product use and adoption
Knowledge
- Leadership experience, ideally directly managing and coaching individuals’ performance, development plans and career paths
- Product Management methodologies and project methodologies (Agile/Lean/Six Sigma)
- Strategic business processes and creation of software products to automate processes
- High level understanding of technologies that are available for building applications and products including Salesforce and Microsoft platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in relevant field
- Track record of demonstrated high performance leadership skills and attributes in a distributed or multi-national set-up
- Experience with Agile (Scrum / Scaled Agile), DevOps, lean development methodologies, lean project management methodologies, and working with external vendors and partners
- 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in a business role related to business unit, or in a technology role requiring significant interaction with the business and in successfully delivering complex, large scale technological initiatives across an organization
- Product and project consulting experience is an asset
- Experience with Cloud environments, especially Salesforce. Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or ServiceNOW experience also relevant.
