Marketing Specialist

Quadra Wood Products Ltd. is a wood manufacturing company located in Abbotsford, BC. Our cedar mill is located near British Columbia’s forests, which are rich with the cedar we use. We ship throughout Canada, the US, Europe and the Far East to operations of all sizes. We plan to expand our marketing team and we are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our company. The successful candidate will be mainly in charge of our company’s marketing strategies and implementation of marketing plans to expand our business and augment sales.

Responsibilities:

• Research on market demand for various wood products and search for targeted clients in the company’s service area.
• Demonstrate the ability to use simulation models to test and conduct marketing strategies when necessary
• Liaison with potential customers through questionnaires and surveys; use the data collected to analyze the market feedback and adjust the price accordingly
• Update adjustment on existing wood products and build new promotional channels when necessary
• Administer the implementation of marketing plans based on annual sales targets and report the sales performance to management.
• Maintain excellent relationship with existing and new retailers and invited them to participate in the company’s promotional activities
• Design and review marketing materials such as newsletters and advertising flyers for companies. various products and services.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of related work experience in marketing
• Education: College diploma or above
• Personal Skill: Excellent written communication, Client focus, Initiative, Organized, Team player, Flexibility, Judgement, Effective interpersonal skills

Terms of Employment:

Permanent, Full-Time

40 hours per week
