Job Description

Canada Royal Arts High School is a BC Ministry of Education certified co-ed private school offering arts and design-oriented Grade 10 to 12 and adult learning programs. We are committed to providing students with outstanding preparation for their post-secondary education and future careers. We are currently looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist who is friendly, organized, detail oriented and hard-working to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

Identify school advertising needs and execute marketing activities

Maintain online presence of the school

Conduct research on local and foreign marketing to identity interests and needs of targeted groups

Prepare and deliver educational and publicity programs and informational materials to increase public awareness of school’s products and services

Conduct research on competitors to uncover their advertising strategies and look for new opportunities

Develop and implement advertising campaigns appropriate for print or electronic media

Collect data and analyze school’s marketing campaign results

Prepare Marketing reports for management review

Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences

Prepare or oversee preparation of counseling and recruit of students

Qualifications:

• A minimum of college diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

· At least 2 years Marketing experience

· Excellent communication skills

• Work experience at an educational industry background is an asset
• Skills in multi-tasking, interpersonal, and time management
• Proficient skills in using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is an asset
• Chinese speaking, writing and reading as an asset.
