In collaboration with the bar manager, the mixologist’s main function is to ensure good customer service.

Job description:

• Collect customer information to serve, to plan the implementation
• Open the room according to the procedure
• Supply the different stations (buffet, bar, coffee, etc.) with different items and products needed
• Polish glasses, utensils and dishes
• Look for tablecloths at the laundry
• Greet customers, check their customer status and assign them a place
• Read and explain the menu, suggest specialties and offer different drinks
• Take the order and offer the extras and advise on the wine options
• Enter the order in the system
• Do the service throughout the meal
• See to the satisfaction of the customers and the smooth running of the meal and / or drinks service
• Respond to various requests for information, including tourist information
• Refer any major problem cases to the supervisor
• Prepare the invoice and ensure its accuracy
• Deliver the invoice to the customer, receive and complete the payment transaction
• Clean and clear the table throughout the service and / or the end of the meal
• Arrange the tables according to the needs of the clientele (group / individual)
• Set tables according to the standards of the establishment
• Clean and dismantle the stations
• Wash the various equipment and furniture
• Close the cash register and prepare the deposit
• Make deposits according to the established procedure
• Close the room or bar according to the established procedure
