Assists in overseeing the nightly operations of the Front Office. Acts as contact person for guest and other hotel departments during night shift.

Working with minimal supervision, the Night Auditor audits, balances, posts and reports on the front desk to include room charges, corrections, adjustments, etc. The Night Auditor balances and closes all bank ticket codes daily, and is responsible for tracking, maintaining, and distributing occupancy statistics and performing other clerical duties as required.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work.
  • Audit, balance, post and report for all departments to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash and credit handling procedures are followed, provide performance information as required.
  • Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily.
  • Run balance to post rooms and close day.
  • Run accounts receivable reports.
  • Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required.
  • Process Marriott Bonvoy Award reports.
  • Maintain & balance float.
  • Perform delivery and luggage pick up, delivery of laundry, faxes, packages and all other guest request items in accordance with Westin Brand Standards.
  • Promotes a safe working environment, playing an active role in reducing hazards and accidents.
  • Stay up to date on all Westin Brand initiatives and programs.
  • Assumes Service Express Agent duties as required.
  • Assumes Service Express Attendant duties as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1 year customer service experience required
  • Completion of Accounting and/or Hospitality courses preferred
  • Accounting and Front Desk experience preferred
  • Experience handling money
  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Focus on self-learning and development
  • Available to work Mon – Sun: 5 shifts, 8 hour shifts, nights (11pm – 7am)
