Our client is a full-service construction management company that has operated for over 20 years in the residential and commercial spaces. ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Office Manager & Administration, you’ll be reporting directly to the General Manager and CEO/Owner. You’ll be responsible for all front office activities – mail service, reception duties, and handing office supplies.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage the reception area; handle the phone line, mail service, and boardroom bookings
  • Ensure business licenses, association memberships and insurance are in good standing
  • Provide support to plan the staff and networking events and manage the vacation calendar
  • Handle the maintenance of the office areas and equipment, and coordinate with vendors and service technicians
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by management
  • Able to attend work in-person in their Burnaby office, from 8 AM to 4 PM

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 years of experience in office administration
  • Experience working with construction project management software (such as is required Builder Trend & Procore) and MS Office
  • Must be willing to learn, collaborate with others, and multitask and manage time efficiently

COMPENSATION

  • $55,000 to $80,000 a year, depending on experience
  • 2 weeks vacation
  • Regularly scheduled staff social events
  • Benefits package after 3 month probationary period
