One of our major banking clients is looking for a People Transformation and Change Management Manager (Remote)
Length: 1 year Contract with a possibility of extension or full-time employment
Location: Toronto, ON – Remote
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
LOB: Risk Strategy and Transformation

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Act as the people transformation and change management lead within a high-visibility/high-priority transformation program
  • Develop and execute wholistic people transformation and change management strategies, plans, activities and artefacts that will drive adoption of new ways of working, talent refresh/upskilling, and benefits realization based on business objectives in the context of the transformation program
  • Partner with internal HR and Learning & Development teams to design training programs, talent management and workforce strategies
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and drive leadership alignment of required initiatives
  • Partner with the internal communications team to convey information with compelling business context and guidance
  • Identify resistance to the change and build required plans to overcome objectives through communications and training in order to implement and sustain the change
  • Identify, escalate, track risks & issues to change and people readiness
  • Assess data driven change sentiment and deliver on appropriate action plans
  • Facilitate a smooth and sustainable transition into steady state

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of change management related experience, with minimum 2+ years relevant experience in a reputable management consulting company (e.g., Big4, Accenture, etc.)
  • University degree in a related field of study (e.g., Business, Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, Psychology, etc.)
  • Proven track record of leading large scale, complex organizational change management programs in areas such as technology, process and people-focused business transformations, strategic change and cultural adoption:

o Execute on the full cycle of change management activities
o Define and develop project plans that shape the overall approach, implementation and sustainment of people transformation and change management activities incl. the management of these activities
o Facilitate meetings and workshops to support change management efforts and build buy-in of proposed organizational changes

  • Experience in delivering programs that support agile / iterative transformation and/or cloud transformation
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, succeed in a team and work independently
  • Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of motivation and a self-starting attitude
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Change Management designation is an asset.
