A well-established company in the West Island is seeking a Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will be managing commercial and industrial projects by working closely with the team in the St. Laurent office and traveling to sites throughout the Greater Montreal region.

Responsibilities:

– Managing several projects, respecting deadlines and budgets
– Ensuring plants and tender specifications meet construction standards – Working with the operations team to establish the projects scope and work rates
– Participating in planning meetings with Project Coordinators
– Establishing the project schedule and scope
– Validating technical specification and approvals
– Prioritizing tasks for projects accordingly
– Overseeing the ordering of project materials
– Staying up to date on the progress and budgets throughout the project – Managing any project changes in work and cost estimation
– Ensuring timely delivery on projects and overseeing any related documentation

Qualifications:

– At least 2 years’ experience in construction project management
– Education in a related field, a strong asset
– Fluency in English and French with very good communication skills in both languages
– Knowledge of construction codes and standards
– Technically savvy to work with MS Office Suite and project management software
– Organization, ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
